The shoes are exactly as pictured. Lovely. Though my son uses it only twice a week, I noticed the threads holding the velcro tab started pulling. It's something that can easily be sewn. But for more vigorous usage,I can't say how sturdy it'll be. For now, it fits it's purpose. Nice.
